  • 2 slices thick sourdough bread
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 medium Granny Smith apple, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup dried cranberries
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter

Instructions

  1. Thinly slice the Granny Smith apple and prepare all ingredients.
  2. Butter one side of each slice of sourdough bread.
  3. On the unbuttered side of one slice, layer half of the cheddar cheese, apple slices, cranberries, and remaining cheddar cheese. Top with the other slice of bread, buttered side up.
