  • 1 package instant yeast
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup salted butter (melted)
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 44 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup apple butter
  • 3/4 cup light brown sugar
  • 6 ounces cream cheese

Instructions

  1. In a stand mixer bowl, combine warm milk and yeast; let it rest.
  2. Add eggs, melted butter, and sugar; mix until combined.
  3. Stir in salt and flour gradually; let rest for five minutes.
  4. Knead dough with a dough hook until smooth (5-7 minutes).
  5. Let rise in a greased bowl until doubled in size (30 minutes).
  6. Roll out the dough into a rectangle; spread with apple butter and sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon.
  7. Roll tightly and cut into slices; place in a greased pan and let rise again (20 minutes).
  8. Preheat oven to 375°F; pour warm cream over rolls and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Make frosting by beating cream cheese and butter; add powdered sugar and cinnamon.
  10. Frost rolls while warm and serve.
