  • 1 cup dry tea
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • ¼ cup heavy cream
  • 1/3 cup Parmesan cheese (freshly grated)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
  • Salt/pepper
  • ¼ cup flour
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch (+ 2 tablespoons cold water, optional)
  • 1 teaspoon each: dried parsley, mustard powder
  • ½ teaspoon each: dried oregano, dried basil

Instructions

  1. Slice chicken breasts in half lengthwise and pound them to about ½ inch thick.
  2. Season with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper before dredging lightly in flour.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet and sear the chicken for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  4. Deglaze the pan with apple cider vinegar, then add butter and minced garlic, cooking until fragrant.
  5. Stir in Worcestershire sauce and chicken broth; bring to a boil, then thicken with cornstarch if desired.
  6. Lower heat, mix in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, then return chicken to the skillet.
  7. Add fresh lemon juice before serving and garnish with parsley.
