  • Green gel food coloring
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar (for filling)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup finely crumbled snack cakes

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. Sift powdered sugar and almond flour together twice.
  3. Beat egg whites until foamy, add cream of tartar, then gradually add granulated sugar until stiff peaks form. Mix in green food coloring.
  4. Gently fold in the almond flour mixture until combined.
  5. Pipe tree shapes onto lined baking sheets and let rest for 30–60 minutes.
  6. Bake for 14–16 minutes, allowing them to cool completely afterward.
  7. For the filling, beat softened butter until fluffy, then mix in powdered sugar, vanilla extract, heavy cream, and crumbled snack cakes.
