Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 oz bowtie (farfalle) pasta
  • 23 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ¾ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Cook bowtie pasta according to package instructions until al dente; reserve a bit of pasta water and set aside.
  2. Season chicken with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper. In a skillet over medium-high heat, sear chicken in olive oil for 4–5 minutes per side until cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant. Add heavy cream and scrape up browned bits from the pan.
  4. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Adjust seasoning if needed.
  5. Add cooked pasta to the sauce and mix well. If too thick, incorporate reserved pasta water gradually.
  6. Slice cooked chicken and return to the skillet to warm through.
  7. Serve garnished with parsley and additional Parmesan if desired.
