  • 1/4 cup Flour
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • 9oz Baby Button Mushrooms (sliced)
  • 3/4 cup Heavy Cream
  • 3/4 cup Chicken Stock
  • 1oz Freshly Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 2 Garlic Cloves (diced)
  • Fresh Parsley and Chives (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Slice chicken breasts horizontally to create even pieces.
  2. Mix flour with salt, garlic powder, and black pepper; dredge the chicken in the mixture.
  3. Heat olive oil and butter in a pan over medium-high heat; sear the chicken until golden brown on both sides, then set aside.
  4. In the same pan, cook sliced mushrooms until golden; add diced garlic and cook until fragrant.
  5. Pour in chicken stock and cream; simmer until thickened. Stir in Parmesan, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  6. Return the chicken to the pan, coating it with sauce before serving.
