  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 450°F (232°C).
  2. Trim the ends of the Brussels sprouts, remove damaged leaves, and rinse them well. Steam until fork-tender (about 15 minutes). Drain and allow to cool.
  3. In a large bowl, toss the cooled Brussels sprouts with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Spread them on a baking sheet and gently smash each sprout into flat patties using the bottom of a cup.
  5. Sprinkle grated Parmesan evenly over the smashed sprouts.
