  • 3/4 cup brown sugar (packed)
  • 3 large ripe bananas (mashed)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and prepare a 9×5 loaf pan with non-stick spray and parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, sift together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
  4. Whisk melted butter with brown sugar until combined, then add mashed bananas, sour cream, and vanilla extract.
  5. Mix in eggs one at a time before gently folding in dry ingredients until just combined. Add chocolate chips last.
