  • ½ cup pumpkin puree
  • ¼ cup milk
  • ¼ cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon nutmeg
  • ⅓ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons butter (melted)
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350ºF and prepare a donut pan with non-stick spray.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together pumpkin puree, brown sugar, vegetable oil, and milk until smooth.
  3. In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, spices, and salt. Gradually mix into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  4. Transfer batter to a piping bag and fill each cavity in the donut pan evenly.
  5. Bake for 15-16 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool for about 10 minutes before releasing from the pan.
  6. For the coating, melt butter and mix sugar with cinnamon in a separate bowl.
  7. Brush each donut with melted butter and roll in the cinnamon sugar mixture to coat.
