  • 2 large chicken breasts
  • Salt & pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Flour (for dredging)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons butter (divided)
  • 8 ounces cremini mushrooms (sliced fairly thin)
  • 1 large clove garlic (minced)
  • 3/4 cup marsala wine
  • 1/2 cup heavy/whipping cream

Instructions

  1. Slice chicken breasts in half lengthwise and season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Dredge in flour.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter over medium-high heat. Sear chicken for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove from pan.
  3. Add remaining butter and sliced mushrooms to the skillet; cook until browned (3-5 minutes).
  4. Stir in minced garlic and marsala wine; let simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Pour in heavy cream, return chicken to skillet, and cook for an additional 4-5 minutes until fully cooked.
