  • 1 lb ground meat (beef, turkey, or chicken)
  • 4 cups shredded green cabbage
  • 1 cup grated or julienned carrots
  • 3 green onions, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger, minced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce or tamari
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • Red pepper flakes (optional, to taste)

Instructions

  1. Prepare all ingredients by shredding cabbage, grating carrots, and chopping green onions.
  2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground meat until browned (5-7 minutes). Drain any excess fat.
  3. Add minced garlic and ginger; stir for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Mix in cabbage and carrots along with soy sauce and sesame oil. Cook for another 5-7 minutes until veggies are tender yet crunchy.
  5. Season with salt, black pepper, and optional red pepper flakes before serving hot.
