  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp cayenne pepper
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp ground black pepper
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 tbsp canola oil
  • 1 tbsp green onions (sliced)
  • 5 tbsp room temperature butter
  • ½ cup honey
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ⅛ tsp ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. Mix flour, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, onion powder, salt, and black pepper in a bowl. Dredge chicken pieces in the mixture.
  2. Heat unsalted butter and canola oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook until golden brown and cooked through (about 5-7 minutes). Remove from skillet.
  3. In the same skillet, melt room temperature butter over low heat. Stir in honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, salt, and black pepper until combined.
  4. Return chicken to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce. Let simmer for an additional minute or two before serving.
