  • 1 box triple chocolate cake mix
  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 2 cups warm water
  • 2 1/2 tsp active dry yeast
  • 1 tbsp canola oil
  • 1/2 cup unsalted sweet cream butter (vegan)
  • 1 cup Mallo Bits (plus more for topping)
  • 2 tbsp cinnamon
  • 1 1/22 cups mini chocolate chips (plus more for topping)
  • 1 jar (7 oz) vegan marshmallow crème
  • Chocolate sauce

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the cake mix, flour, warm water, and yeast until slightly combined.
  2. Knead the dough on a floured surface until smooth. Place in a greased bowl, cover with a towel, and let it rise until doubled (about an hour).
  3. Roll out the dough to about 1/8 inch thick. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with Mallo Bits, chocolate chips, and cinnamon.
  4. Roll tightly and cut into pieces about 1 1/2 inches thick; place in a baking dish. Let rise again for an hour.
  5. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for about 30 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Drizzle with chocolate sauce and warmed vegan marshmallow crème before serving.
