  • ¼ cup hot cocoa powder
  • 15 large vegan marshmallows
  • ½ cup cream cheese (room temperature)
  • Powdered sugar (½ to 1 cup)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, salt, and yeast.
  2. Combine warmed milk and melted butter in another bowl.
  3. Create a well in the dry mixture, pour in the milk mixture and egg, then knead until smooth.
  4. Cover and let rise in a greased bowl for about 30 minutes.
  5. Roll dough into a rectangle (16×9 inches) on a floured surface.
  6. Spread softened butter and sprinkle hot cocoa powder over the dough; roll tightly and cut into slices.
  7. Place rolls in a greased pan, cover lightly, and let rise while preheating oven to 375°F.
  8. Bake for 15-18 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Prepare frosting by microwaving vegan marshmallows until gooey; mix with cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
  10. Frost warm rolls before serving.
