  • 12 ounces linguine pasta
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook linguine according to package directions in salted water. Reserve ½ cup pasta water before draining.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Season chicken with salt and pepper; sear until browned and cooked through (about 5-7 minutes). Remove from pan and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic for one minute. Stir in lemon juice and reserved pasta water.
  4. Pour in heavy cream and half of the parsley; simmer until slightly thickened.
  5. Add cooked chicken and linguine to the sauce along with parmesan cheese. Toss until well coated.
  6. Garnish with remaining parsley and serve immediately.
