  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
  • 12 tablespoons milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and brown sugar until fluffy. Add maple syrup, egg, and vanilla extract; mix until smooth.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing on low speed until combined.
  4. Roll dough into 1 1/2-inch balls and place on baking sheets with space in between. Gently flatten each ball.
  5. Bake for 8-10 minutes until edges are golden but centers are still soft. Cool before transferring to wire racks.
  6. For the glaze, whisk powdered sugar with maple syrup and milk until smooth; drizzle over cooled cookies.
