  • 2 cups (250 g) all-purpose flour

  • 2 cups (250 g) confectioners' sugar, sifted
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ¼ cup (82 g) caramel topping
  • 1 ½ teaspoons whole milk, as needed

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, combine melted butter and brown sugar until smooth. Add vanilla extract and eggs one at a time, mixing well.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together flour and salt, then gradually add to the wet mixture until just combined. Gently fold in mashed bananas.
  4. Pour batter into the prepared dish and bake for about 45 minutes or until golden brown.
  5. For frosting, cream room temperature butter with sifted confectioners' sugar, add salt and caramel topping until smooth.
  6. Once cooled, frost the bars generously and cut into squares.
