Ingredients
Scale
4 salmon fillets (about 6 ounces each)
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/2 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
1/4 cup honey
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 garlic cloves (minced)
1 tablespoon orange zest
Salt and pepper (to taste)
Optional: 1 teaspoon cornstarch mixed with 1 tablespoon water
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Season salmon fillets with salt and pepper.
Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Sear salmon, skin-side up, for 3-4 minutes until golden brown. Flip and sear for an additional 2 minutes.
In a saucepan, combine orange juice, honey, soy sauce, garlic, and orange zest. Simmer over medium heat until flavors meld. For a thicker glaze, stir in mixed cornstarch.
Pour the glaze over salmon in the skillet and transfer to the oven. Bake for about 8-10 minutes or until cooked through.
