  • 1 cup sugar, divided
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 cup water

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine ½ cup sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice, and water. Cook over medium heat until boiling and thickened; let cool slightly.
  2. Fold sliced strawberries into the cooled glaze.
