  • ½ cup sugar
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup sugar + 1 tsp sugar (divided)
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 1 pkg active dry yeast (about 2 1/4 tsp)

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 10 tbsp unsalted butter, very soft and cubed
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup water

Instructions

  1. Prepare the blueberry filling by cooking blueberries with sugar and lemon juice until thickened. Set aside to cool.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese and sugar until smooth for the cream cheese filling.
  3. For the dough, mix flour, sugar, salt, and yeast in one bowl; whisk warmed milk, eggs, and vanilla in another. Combine both mixtures and knead in softened butter until smooth.
