  • ¼ cup flour
  • 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning

  1. Slice chicken breasts in half lengthwise and pound to ½ inch thickness.
  2. Season with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper; dredge in flour.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear chicken until golden on both sides. Remove from skillet.
  4. Deglaze the pan with white wine, scraping up brown bits; let it reduce by half.
  5. Add butter and garlic; cook briefly before stirring in Worcestershire sauce, chicken broth, and seasonings.
  6. For a thicker sauce, mix cornstarch with water and add to the skillet.
  7. Lower heat and stir in heavy cream and Parmesan until melted.
  8. Return chicken to the skillet; simmer briefly before adding lemon juice and garnishing with parsley.
