  • 1 1/2 lbs boneless chicken (dark meat recommended)
  • 1/2 green pepper
  • 1/2 onion
  • 34 slices ginger
  • 23 cloves garlic
  • 2 tablespoons garlic-ginger-onion mix (reserved from marinade)
  • 1/2 small onion
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 tablespoon chilli powder
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 34 tablespoons water
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon dark soy
  • 2 1/2 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 67 tablespoons corn starch
  • 56 green chillis
  • 2 teaspoons corn starch (mixed with 4 teaspoons of water)
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon chilli powder
  • 1/2 cup water

Instructions

  1. Marinate chicken pieces with garlic-ginger-onion mix, black pepper, chilli powder, soy sauce, and water for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Chop green pepper and onion; slice ginger and garlic.
  3. Coat marinated chicken with corn starch thoroughly.
  4. Heat oil in a wok over medium-high heat; fry chicken until golden brown and crispy.
  5. In the same pan, stir-fry ginger, garlic, green pepper, and onions for a few minutes.
  6. Combine fried chicken with sauces and cook until the sauce thickens.
  7. Serve hot with rice or noodles.
