  • 16 oz fresh strawberries
  • 2 cups packed brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Prepare the fruit: Wash cranberries and strawberries; hull and chop strawberries.
  2. Cook cranberries: In a large pot, combine cranberries and 1 cup water; bring to boil over medium heat.
  3. Add strawberries: Once cranberries pop (about 10 minutes), stir in chopped strawberries.
  4. Mix in sugar and spices: Gradually add brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and ginger; cook on low heat for 3-4 hours until thickened.
  5. Jar your jam: Ladle hot jam into sterilized jars, leaving half an inch of space at the top.
  6. Seal and process: Seal jars tightly and process in boiling water for five minutes.
