Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 oz bowtie pasta
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 small onion, finely diced
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Boil bowtie pasta in salted water according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil. Sauté diced onion for 2–3 minutes until translucent, then add minced garlic and cook for another 30 seconds.
  3. Add ground beef to the skillet, breaking it apart as it cooks until browned (about 5–6 minutes). Drain excess fat if necessary.
  4. Stir in beef broth, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using). Let simmer for 3–4 minutes until slightly reduced.
  5. Add cooked pasta to the skillet, tossing everything together thoroughly. Drizzle with more olive oil if desired.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with grated Parmesan and chopped parsley.
