Instructions

  2. In one bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix buttermilk, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract until combined.
  4. Combine wet and dry mixtures; stir in hot coffee until just mixed.
  5. Divide batter between pans and bake for 30–35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. For ganache: Heat cream until simmering; pour over chopped chocolate. Stir in butter and vanilla until smooth.
