  • 1 pound meatballs (homemade or store-bought)
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 28 ounces crushed tomatoes
  • 1/2 medium onion, chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 red bell pepper, chopped
  • 1.5 cups uncooked fusilli pasta
  • Fresh basil and Parmesan cheese for serving

Instructions

  1. Gather all ingredients and prepare your meatballs if making from scratch.
  2. In a large soup pot over medium-high heat, sauté olive oil and onions for about 4-5 minutes until translucent. Add garlic and cook for another 30 seconds.
  3. Stir in crushed tomatoes, beef broth, red bell pepper, Italian seasoning, crushed red pepper flakes (if desired), and meatballs. Bring to a boil.
  4. Add uncooked fusilli pasta; reduce heat to low and simmer for about 15 minutes until the pasta is cooked through.
