  • 1 cup white chocolate chips (180 g)
  • 1/4 cup butter (60 g)
  • 1 big pinch salt
  • 2 tbsp lemon zest (from 2 lemons)
  • 3 tbsp heavy whipping cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla paste or extract (optional)
  • 23 drops yellow food coloring (optional)
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar for rolling
  • a couple drops lemon extract

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, place the white chocolate chips aside.
  2. Melt butter with salt and lemon zest in a saucepan over low heat; add heavy cream until almost boiling.
  3. Pour the hot mixture through a fine-mesh sieve over the white chocolate chips; stir until smooth.
  4. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes to 1 hour until firm enough to shape.
  5. Scoop chilled mixture into balls and roll in powdered sugar.
