  • 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 ½ cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Cook the pumpkin puree in a saucepan over medium heat for about 10 minutes until reduced, then cool.
  2. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Cream together butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, cooled pumpkin puree, and vanilla.
  4. In another bowl, whisk flour, cornstarch, baking soda, salt, and pumpkin pie spice. Gradually mix into wet ingredients.
  5. Fold in chocolate chips and scoop dough onto the prepared sheet.
  6. Freeze dough balls for at least 30 minutes before baking.
